My Mission in Life

I work with women like me at the intersection of stress & burnout, gut health, and lack of sense of self. My mission is to help you reclaim your energy, recover your gut health, uncover your authentic self, and live in alignment so that you can finally have the beautiful and fulfilling life you dream about.

Create a life you can’t wait to wake up to.

My story

For years I woke up dreading each day. After struggling with depression almost my entire life, a stressful and demanding job finally led me to total burnout.

My sleep was crap, I was stressed out of my mind (one time for three weeks in a row, my stomach was in such a knot I could barely eat anything without being doubled over in pain), and the little voice in my head was whispering that it was pretty sure my heart and soul were dying. (Not to be dramatic or anything…) I started having these dizzy spells where the world would tilt to the side all of a sudden. Then it would go back to normal after a few seconds, but for five days after that I would feel like things were spinning. My memory was slipping. My creativity was gone.

On the surface, things were pretty good - I had a loving partner, a nice little apartment, a cute dog, and a job that paid the bills. So what was my hang up?

Well, it definitely took me a while to figure out - but here’s the short version:

My chosen career path had been out of alignment with my true inner being for many years. I was completely disconnected from myself: my soul, my mind, and my heart. I was white-knuckling it through life, feeling completely unfulfilled - feeling like I was wasting my life, like my dreams were leaving me behind.

My self-care? Well, it basically consisted of Googling different supplements to solve this problem or that problem, then aggressively taking those supplements hoping that they would fix me. (Supplements definitely have their place and value - but my struggles definitely required a deeper, more holistic approach.) So, let’s say that self-care and self-love were pretty much non-existent. I’d pretty much left my mental illness unaddressed for years — with inconsistent, on-and-off therapy, and a poor understanding of depression itself.

Finally, I reached a place where I was exhausted, completely disconnected from myself, and feeling overwhelmed by the tiniest things. I was just going through the motions and felt blank inside. It was a pretty drastic place to be - and it was time to step in a new direction.

I did a ton of research and read a bunch of scientific papers where they explained the true nature of burnout. What I learned scared the crap out of me, and I knew it was time to draw a line in the sand. I couldn’t go on like this any longer. (You’ll see me talk about this a lot, because I feel very passionately about helping people have a real understanding of the stages of burnout and what it actually looks like.)

Little by little, I started to practice self-care and self-discovery, I learned what self-love truly means, and I started feeding myself (mind, body, and spirit) what I truly needed. My strategy included a nutrient-dense, whole foods diet, a media/information purge (social media and the news are pretty stressful, amirite?), a radical commitment to anti-stress living, herbal support, and fulfilling movement.

I developed a supportive and nourishing lifestyle that supports my mind, body, and soul so that I can live my dreams. This is a process, it requires practice, and it’s definitely a journey - but it’s all completely worth it because it allows me to wake up each day feeling excited.

Now I’m on a mission to help women just like you with practical knowledge, soulful support, and nurturing accountability to design your own mind-body-spirit nourishing lifestyle, get your energy back and reconnect with yourself so that you can have the energy and confidence to live your own fulfilling and meaningful life.

My goal is to help you live tummy ache-free, bloat-free, and stress-free. I believe that this isn’t possible without taking a deeper look at the true you, and building a loving connection with her. Because, how can you live a meaningful and aligned life without having the knowledge about yourself that lets you do so?

For the longest time, I blamed myself  for how I was feeling. Why couldn’t I just be normal like everyone else? Why couldn’t I cope with this 9-to-5 job and be happy with what I had?

You’re not to blame for how you’re feeling — but you do have the power to change it.

The most radical act in a sick society is to heal yourself then gently help heal others too.

My approach

I take a mind, body, spirit approach in a process called Transformational Nutrition. Transformational Nutrition is a coaching philosophy based on the idea that the mind, body, and spirit must each be addressed in order to achieve meaningful transformation.

I like to describe this as a science-backed, soul-led method that is tailored to your unique needs and life experience.

If you are looking to make some radical improvements in your life, coaching is the fastest way to get there.

How does coaching work?

In coaching, we work together to uncover your unique path forward. A coach is there to hold you accountable to the goals that you make, keep you on track, prompt you to explore new ideas, be a should to cry on, and support you through meaningful transformation in short periods of time.
